  Living Meditation


Meditation is really about being more fully present. In our Yoga practice we find the body and the breath are keys to entering the silence and space around us.

So many of us are continuously lost in streams of thought from morning to bedtime. We find that tuning in to the breath and body sensation can be the access point to lead us into presence.

At every moment of our life we can either be lost in thought or fully connected with life. We tend to spend more time thinking about life rather than actually experiencing life, so this practice invites a shift of attention from thinking to being.

If we can be fully present in our Yoga practice we will naturally find an overflowing of a deeper more alive presence in our every day life. We open to a deeper dimension of ourselves.

You could say the purpose of the Yoga practice is Meditation.
